PoisonType

Skills

SP required MP consumption Skill name Class Effect
10 4 PoisonAttackPhysicalDeals 1.1x damage to a single enemy + 70% chance of inflicting Poison
20 6 Poison Magic Deals 25 damage to a single enemy + 80% chance of inflicting Poison
30 8 VenomBreath Breath 60% chance of inflicting Poison on all enemies

Details

Poison. Completely specializes in Poison.
If you don't take precautions against Poison, your health will be depleted in no time.
Furthermore, the odds of being poisoned are quite high, which often disrupts the building of Tension.
If an enemy with this job appears, eliminate them first.

However, if this job appears alongside a ParalysisType or SleepType, it might be worth keeping the enemy around to quickly remove your incapacitation.

ParalysisType

Skills

SP required MP consumption Skill name Class Effect
10 8 ParalysisAttackPhysicalDeals 1.2x damage to a single enemy + 30% chance of inflicting Paralysis
20 11 TrammelLash PhysicalDeals 0.8x damage to a single enemy + 40% chance of inflicting Paralysis
30 9 BurningBreath Breath 35% chance of inflicting Paralysis on all enemies

Details

Paralysis.
Since it's highly likely to incapacitate you and lead to you getting beaten to a pulp by other monsters, you should eliminate these enemies as quickly as possible.
Compared to SleepType, the chance of inflicting an abnormal status is lower, but the damage of ParalysisAttack is higher.

SleepType

Skills

SP required MP consumption Skill name Class Effect
10 8 Snooze Magic 65% chance of inflicting Sleep on a single enemy
20 15 SleepAttackPhysicalDeals 0.8x damage to a single enemy + 55% chance of inflicting Sleep
30 9 SweetBreathBreath 35% chance of inflicting Sleep on all enemies

Details

Sleep.
Compared to ParalysisType, it has a higher chance of inflicting an abnormal status and is dangerous. Defeat these enemies immediately.
It consumes slightly more MP and has lower damage… but that's irrelevant since Sleep is extremely dangerous.

InstantDeath

Skills

SP required MP consumption Skill name Class Effect
10 14 Whack Magic20% chance of instantly killing a single enemy
20 32 Thwack Magic20% chance of instantly killing all enemies
30 24 DeathDanceDance17% chance of instantly killing all enemies
40 42 Doom Magic50% chance of inflicting near-death and Poison on a single enemy

Details

Specializes in instant kills. You can let them live if you're confident in your luck, but basically, this is a job you want to eliminate as quickly as possible.

Since there's once dance skill mixed in, you can't let your guard down even if you're using a MagicReflect/NullMagic strategy.
Even if you try to use revival as insurance against instant death, if you are poisoned to death by Doom, you cannot be revived.
This is a very difficult job to deal with. You should definitely get rid of these enemies as quickly as possible.

SelfDestruct

Skills

SP required MP consumption Skill name Class Effect
10 All KamikazeeNoneReduces own HP to 0 and has a 60% chance of instantly killing all enemies
20 0 Nap NoneInflicts "Sleep" on self and recovers half of maximum HP

Details

Take it out immediately. Take it out right away. Before it explodes.

Summon

Skills

SP required MP consumption Skill name Class Effect
0 50 SummonNoneSummons one enemy

Details

All it can do is summon allies.
There's no particular strategy to counter it.
You're free to either let them live regardless of whether they use Summon, or eliminate them immediately before they increase the number of enemies.

Incidentally, even if the player uses Morph to obtain this job and uses Summon, it will only increase the number of enemies. it won't increase the number of allies.

PuppetMaster

Skills

SP required MP consumption Skill name Class Effect
0 0 PuppetryNoneTurns a single enemy into a puppet
0 0 CoolJokeNoneReduces the tension of all enemies to 0%

Details

The most terrifying thing is its Puppetry skill. It's practically a 100% instant death.
Furthermore, a player affected by Puppetry becomes a puppet controlled by the enemy, retaining their temporary status and tension.
Extreme caution is necessary. Though, I'm not sure being cautious is enough to prevent it.
Also the "cool jokes" are incredibly annoying.

ExtremeAttackType

Skills

SP required MP consumption Skill name Class Effect
0 24 LashingsOfLashingsAttackDeals 0.85x damage to random enemies 3-4 times

0 40 DarkArtsSword AttackDeals 2.5x damage to an enemy. Gives self 0.2x damage in recoil
0 33 FocusStrength None Increases tension level by two stages. Gives self a temporary status of 2x
0 80 JetBlackFlame BreathDeals 400 damage to all enemies
0 70 LightningStorm Magic Deals 250 damage to all enemies + 20% chance of inflicting Paralysis
0 42 Doom Magic 50% chance of inflicting near-death and Poison on a single enemy
0 66 AngelOfDarkness Magic Deals 260 damage to all enemies + 30% chance of inflicting Sleep

Details

This job appears to have simply gathered all the most powerful skills from the regular jobs, but…
First, let's look at the second skill from the top, Multifists. Its multiplier is higher than the original MartialArtist skill.
Yet, it's MP consumption hasn't gone up. Therefore it's a complete upgrade over the first skill, LashingsOfLashings.
Next is BigRampage. The original damage was 200, but this one has it increased to 300. That hurts.
JetBlackFlame is an enemy-only skill. 400 damage to all enemies is pretty painful. On top of that, since it's the only breath-type attack, it will still deal damage even if you have AttackResist, etc.
LightningStorm from the Archfiend job has increased its damage by 100, making it even more formidable. But…
The AngelOfDarkness below from FallenAngel has seen a massive increase of 190 damage.
In terms of MP consumption, damage amount, and abnormal status probability, it is superior to LightningStorm in every regard. Terrifying…
Doom is guaranteed to hit. If it's used, you'll be in grave danger very quickly.

So, it's not just a compilation of strong skills; almost all of them are enhanced.
You'll most likely lose if you fight head-on, so either use AttackResist or prepare a powerful method of healing.

ExtremeMagicType

Skills

SP required MP consumption Skill name Class Effect
0 44 HeartlessAngelMagic Reduces enemy's HP to 1
0 30 DisruptiveWaveNone Resets everyone's Accuracy, Attack, Defense, and Agility to their original values
0 30 Carbuncle Magic Gives all allies the temporary status of MagicReflect
0 23 MightyGuard Magic Gives all allies the temporary status of MagicResist
0 44 Awaken None Increases tension level by two stages. Gives self a temporary status of 2x
0 40 BloodRayne Magic Deals 200 damage to all enemies. Recovers 200 health for all allies.
0 40 BubbleBomb BreathDeals 100 damage to all enemies. Gives enemies the temporary status of 2x
0 80 JetBlackFlame BreathDeals 350 damage to all enemies
0 99 DarkMeteor Magic Deals 250 damage to random enemies 4-6 times
0 99 Ultima Magic Deals 400 damage to all enemies

Details

Just like the ExtremeAttackType, this job gathers powerful skills from the regular jobs, but there are two skills unique to ExtremeMagicType.
We'll touch on those later, but first, let's explain the skills.
HeartlessAngel from FallenAngel is guaranteed to hit. It's quite dangerous if you get hit by it solo.
BloodRayne is a BatMaster skill, but the damage is increased by 30 and the healing effect by 50. It's not particularly powerful, but if it's used when you're slowly damaging the Stone-types in a fight against the OneWingedAngel…
BubbleBomb has 50 less damage points than the BubbleMaster skill. However, it has a 100% chance of giving the enemy "2x". Leaving it like that is dangerous. However, if you can reflect it with BreathReflect…
JetBlackFlame, which was also available to the ExtremeAttackType, has 50 less damage. However, it's still painful, and it's difficult to reduce the damage with breath attacks.

And then there are the two ultimate skills possessed only by ExtremeMagicType.
One of them is DarkMeteor, which is an abnormally enhanced version of TimeMage's Meteor. With up to 6 hits dealing 250 damage each, a direct hit would be an instant death. A solo killer.
The other, Ultima, deals 400 damage to everyone, just like ExtremeAttackType's JetBlackFlame. A party killer.

They have no status altering skills whatsoever, but instead they possess many support skills such as Carbuncle and MightyGuard.
In the late-game dungeons where Attack is inflated, the ExtremeAttackType is more dangerous, but you should be very careful of unconventional skills like BubbleBomb and the super-powerful DarkMeteor.

RunAway

Skills

SP required MP consumption Skill name Class Effect
0 0 RunAwayNoneEscapes from battle

Details

They don't inflict physical damage on you, but they do cause emotional damage.
Don't give up.

Tonberry

Skills

SP required MP consumption Skill name Class Effect
0 99 Karma AttackDeals (number of monsters defeated x 0.1) damage to the enemy
0 99 CleaverAttackDeals 666 damage to the enemy

Details

Karma is a terrifying technique whose damage increases with the number of enemies you've defeated so far. If you've defeated more than 10,000 enemies, it will deal instant-death level damage.
Cleaver also deals extremely high damage.

However, since both are attack-class, they are relatively easy to counter.
